In January 2023, we were acquired by Ringmetall, a leading global specialist in the packaging industry to become a one-stop shop for any business or customer looking for a complete Industrial Packaging solution.

On April 1, 2026 PROTECTIVE LINING INC. acquired the New Bedford Thermoforming Division of New England Plastics Corporation, a leading supplier of rigid and form inliners, totes, and other thermoforming products as well as sheet extrusion and conversion products. The combined group will have a broader product portfolio along with more production know-how and technology opportunities. As a part of a succession plan, the Thermoforming Division was sold to a long-standing partner.
